In this inadvertently stationery-themed episode, Evan marvels at the impact of a pencil shortage in the anime industry and Victoria discusses the benefits of taking notes while watching anime. Plus the hosts chat about the Samurai Jack sequel, Mr. Osomatsu, and Cardcaptor Sakura.

Show Notes

  • The Mitsubishi Pencil Company announced that they were discontinuing their colored pencils until animators demanded they bring them back.
  • Evan is tentatively excited about a sequel to Samurai Jack, but Victoria was never a big fan.
  • Mr. Osomatsu is sating Evan's appetite for abject violence in the name of comedy.
  • Evan is also watching some more Cardcaptor Sakura, and marveling over Sakura's many costumes.
  • Victoria's watching Bakemonogatari but she doesn't remember what any of her notes mean.
